The Wisdom Has Returned

Following my long hiatus, I have decided to return following the breaking news of Are the Pacers too White?

Just out of curiosity, why hasn't anyone asked if the Bulls are too black? Or the Lakers, Celtics, Bobcats, Thunder, Kings, Knicks, caught my drift?

On the Pacers' current roster, seven white players are on the roster. Six of them are American-born white (future hall of famer Rasho Nesterovic is the only European-born white).

With the signing of Dahanty Jones, the Pacers currently have eleven black players bringing the total number of players to eighteen.

Granted they'll have to cut three or four players from that roster by the start of the next season. This brings me to my point - if this is really an issue, let's worry about it when the season starts.

If the Pacers keep all seven whites and stumble out of the gate, many will point the finger at the lack of black (which would make a good slogan for the Pacers this year).

I've always thought you pick / sign / trade for the best players available that fit your system. Give the Pacers a break, they'll only trying to do what every other team in the NBA is trying to do - WIN, their way.
