The Finals are over following the Lakers domination of the Magic last night. Kobe Bryant proved last night he could win a championship without Shaquille O'Neal.
However, a new question arises - can Kobe win a championship without Derek Fisher?
Manny Ramirez is due back in a couple of weeks. Will his return have a positive or negative impact? The Dodgers have played alright without him and Juan Pierre has returned to his Florida Marlins (or Martins to some) days.
The truth of the matter is this: You never regret a bat like Manny's returning to your line-up. Will he get booed out of the stadium? Yes, probably at Dodger Stadium too. Will he be a distraction and cause his teammates to answer the same eight questions after each game? Yes.
But when they are winning at a seventy percent clip, I think they will put up with it.
